Chief Operating Officer

The COO will partner closely with the CEO, owning day-to-day execution while also shaping the operational and financial foundation for scale. You will be equally comfortable driving performance in the present and planning for the next stage of growth. You will lead and help expand a multi-state organization, bring structure to a lean environment, and play a central role in financial planning, payer strategy, and revenue optimization.

This role would suit an experienced VP Operations or senior leader ready to step into a broad, high-impact C-suite position. 

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership

·      Lead day-to-day operations across clinical delivery, patient experience, and compliance

·      Build scalable processes, systems, and KPIs to support growth

·      Ensure consistent delivery across multiple states

Financial & Performance Ownership

·      Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking

·      Monitor unit economics, provider productivity, and margin

·      Translate financial insight into operational action

Payer & Revenue Strategy

·      Oversee payer relationships and reimbursement strategy

·      Improve revenue cycle performance and collections

·      Support expansion through payer-informed market entry

Growth & Expansion

·      Lead interstate launches and scaling of new markets

·      Build structure without slowing the business down

·      Recruit and develop a strong operations function

Technology & Team Leadership

·      Scale distributed teams and introduce management layers

·      Lead major platform implementations (EHR, CRM, billing, scheduling)

·      Partner with marketing on patient acquisition and growth 

Experience Required

Senior operations leadership in telehealth, mental health, or healthcare services

Experience scaling across multiple US states

·      Strong financial acumen across forecasting and performance management

·      Deep understanding of payers, reimbursement, and revenue cycle

·      Experience operating in lean, high-growth environments

·      Leadership of remote teams

·      Hands-on experience implementing core systems

·      Understanding of healthcare compliance and licensing

Preferred

Experience working with private equity or preparing for exit;

Experience scaling clinician-led organizations.
